An American owning a family legacy of Commerce, Industry, Police and Military. Childhood spent in Western Pennsylvania, raised by her maternal grandparents: a grandfather whose family originated from Palermo, Sicily who was a professional boxer, World War II solider plus 40 year US Steel careerist and a grandmother whose family originated from Rome, Italy who worked outside the home. Her father was a medical scholar from Persia who studied at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center; he departed the US due to a political regime change. Ms. La Mantia returned to that area post-college and resided in Pittsburgh’s prominent Jewish neighborhood. Relocated to New York City in 2003, and upon kind invitation moved into Newport Yacht Club/Jersey City and remained there long term, which is the largest Indian community in the western hemisphere. Asked to pursue the United States Congressional Representative NJ-8 seat in 2012, she declined. Relocated to Maryland in 2019 and resided in a known Muslim neighborhood of Silver Spring introduced to her by Qatari friends for a three year tenure followed by one year residing in a top security luxury Odenton/Fort Meade community.

Currently age 49, Ms. La Mantia is a committed bachelorette. Personal time most often spent exploring new adventures and athletic activities: well traveled, experienced mountain climber, trained swimmer since childhood and former certified lifeguard, triathlon endurance level athlete, gourmet cook and excellently coached golfer taught by a top level PGA golf pro turned PGA coach. Mourning continues for her beloved pet dog Paisano who passed in 2022. Ms. La Mantia earned her first paycheck when age 13 as a professional model, via an active part time career with Elite Model Management.

Role model and mentor is Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel. Ms. La Mantia also beheld a close and beyond prized mentee relationship with US General and Secretary of State Colin Powell, whom Merkel contacted in 2019. Ms. La Mantia maintains an Independent political affiliation due to her far-right strong execution style plus far-left massive global exposure; this was also the shared status of Colin Powell and Ms. La Mantia upon his death.
